Moxxie Yvaine (He/Him)
Moxxie Yvaine is a Boston based character animator, storyboard artist, writer, and character designer. His films focus on figural movements, character interactions, and outfit design. While he’s always been passionate about art, his exploration in motion media started when he got involved in online multi-animator projects where independent animators came together and animated brief segments of a longer animation and compiled the works into one cohesive film.
It was this passion that drove him to pursue a degree in animation at Lesley University, where he learned to animate with various mediums. Here he branched out from strictly digital animation and realized his love for clay and stop motion as well, combining the various techniques to produce films with a variety of depth and texture that can only be found with this multimedia approach. He also uses animation as a medium for storytelling, utilizing the visual narrative to tell his original short stories and express his flare for creative writing. As he keeps developing new short stories for animation, he is eager to push the boundaries of digital 2D animation and 3D claymation, and mold each technique to perfectly shape the world to immerse his audience.
